Just to clarify my position lol. I dont think the noise is going to go away though re the speed advantage especially with Argentina coming up!!
Page 220, https://www.fim-moto.com/fileadmin/..._Championships_Regulations_3.pdf?t=1665410618, Homologation requires the road motorcycle to be within a defined cost, €40,000 for SBK and manufacturers have to build 125 bikes for the first FIM inspection, build a total of 250 by the end of the first year intended to race and a total of 500 by the end of the second year. The homologation bikes are supposed to be available to the general public. Ducati chose to do what most of the other manufacturers chose not to do, build and sell a road legal race bike to base their race bike on. BMW finally bit the bullet with the M1000RR but they (BMW) don’t have the race development experience Ducati has but I’m sure the bike will get there. Andy
Nope, I'm not sure we will hear much about Gino, I think he's probably in a really complicated rehabilitation period where for example turning up at BSB to see mates would be far far too overwhelming.
