Yes, still tucked up in my garage waiting for me to race again. I just couldn't commit to a full season racing this year so I just use it for track days at the moment.
and all ddry ! waw yep that Raddillon is probably THE corner of the world... you're at 260kph just before the left curb and go up to the blind left to exit at 185 kph if all is well with quit a wobble ... scaaaaary .. and the fun thing is that you only see how daunting it is when you're at the bottom... a bit like the Perfect storm killer wave...
just a tad to tight to make it a blast... but great fun if your trying things out.. and a great learning track...
Had a nightmare at oulton the other week. Had a two dayer booked and only found out b4 leaving the duke wasn,t going to play so my wet bike saved the day. First time I,d ridden the thing in the dry and although it was a chalk ,n cheese experience I still managed to have some fun on it. The main problem I had was clearance issues ( as the Duke allows me to lean and then some) not something the R1 wants to do on right handers due to the exhaust touching down. I thought at first it was just my toe sliders touching but after nearly having my off at Shell Oils, realised it was the zorst.
