cheers , nuttin broken bike has minor damage, mostly cosmetics literally the 2nd last lap of the 3 days fatigue , lack of concentration lesson learned and the gopro survived
Back to a sunny Cadwell Park yesterday 28th April, mostly sunny with a quick snow shower at dinnertime for good measure!! Sadly not on the 996....on a standard GSXR750...some nice Ducati's there plus one of those new R1's mincing about! Oh yeah saw Pete Hickman too and asked him for advice for quicker lap times "brake later get on the throttle earlier, simple" racers eh!
My real first attempt at a full track day, first two pics are in Druids the last in Clearways, thank god theres no pic of me in the kitty litter. I need to get my arse off the seat more though.
May well have one from go-pro as I was out in the same session, perfect upright parking I have to say
I was grinding the pegs of my 848 round clearways and still no knee down. I definitely need to get my arse out of the seat more. [emoji19]
Was that you on the 1299 ? I couldn't have parked better if I tried. Yeah would love to see video footage
great pics you dont need to lean the bike anymore , its at a good lean angle already , just need to get arse off to one side , but bum crack on the edge of the seat
Yeah I was speaking to someone about it today who does a fair bit of track riding, he looked at my tires and said it is just my body positioning that is preventing it. More practice needed in the body positioning department me thinks.
I'm exactly the same. On my 848 I had absolutely 0mm of chicken strips. On the multistrada I have about 2mm. I know it's my body position but even pushing my knee out to the point of straining, it never touched down.
