So less than a week after I dropped the bike at Silverstone, it's all been repaired - minus a side stand - and I went off to Castle Combe today to get some shakedown time in before my trip to Cartagena next month. Luckily it all went smoothly and I managed to stay shiny side up. Bit of a damp start but the afternoon was dry... The track was still a little damp here...

Cheers. Nah, I flew through the noise test! (by using 3 baffles and only revving the bike up to 6k rpm instead of the requested 7.5k!)
I know I've probably listed before, but makes me smile when I see this, a mate on his race 996 following me for much of a very wet Donington session on full wets, I'm on PR4s in the fast group. Proper laugh ! And if I'd have had longer legs demo knee down LOL (forward a couple of mins...)
Are they custom baffles? Did the engine even run with them in or did you slip them back out on the track?
The two smaller baffles came with the exhaust. The larger one is what I had to use in addition to the other two to be able to pass the noise test. The bike actually ran ok with all 3 in, I don't think the first two are particularly restrictive. It's a bit of a faff, especially as you only get 10 minute sessions at Castle Combe. I'm looking forward to Cartagena in 4 weeks time - apparently there aren't any noise restrictions so I'm going to be baffle free - and bloody noisy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
