Ah memories. Got to wait until October to go back to Cartagena but the prospect of 3 days open pit lane is well worth the wait. Andy
Open pit lane was a lot of fun. This was five hours a day with he last hour under flood lights which was cool to experience. The next Pacedayz event is now Alcarras in October which looks a lot like an Italian track and Marquez likes to train there apparently. Also the hotel is owned by an ex porn star haha watching out for black sofas!
I went to Alcarras a few years back with Pacedayz. The track is left handed and has a good selection of corners with some good elevation changes which I like. Well worth a visit but weather could be iffy in October. Hotel sounds interesting though.
Silverstone on the 15th.. track dried out by the end of the day but early sessions a write off. Lost the back end a couple of times and my confidence.
Took me a day and a little bit to start to feel comfortable with the place. Blind off camber corners etc, day one I was dangerously close to the relegation zone for being moved down to inters but managed to find a decent pace come lunch on day two. I hit it off with Estoril quite quickly
