So have you got the RC8 under braking or is the RC8 going around the outside of you ? Just asking . Looking good . Andy
Unfortunately....that's my mate doing the latter... Excuses used: - I had something in my eye and was momentarily distracted.. - The bike was misfiring (which it did repeatedly...but not at Druids) - I let him do it to boost his self confidence... - I was being a bit crap... Last trackday on my 749R was much better!
Give it time, it's a real challenge coming to terms with the bigger bike after enjoying something with a lot less power. I should have been so much quicker at Silverstone but I'm too timid cracking the throttle open. Andy

Some from the other week at croft. Can't get used to this bike on track. Think it's great on the road but struggle on the track just don't have confidence in the front end. Binned the pirellis and trying michelins now. View attachment 97925
Castle Combe today. Finally got over with the R and out on the track after blagging a group sticker off a spare bike someone had finished with. Staff were ok with it and managed one session before the rain came on. Odd track these days with a couple of extra sets of corners which came as a surprise as I hadn't been out for a sighting lap and just banged straight out onto the circuit!
