Getting back on thread Always worth bearing in mind that the latest cameras produce very high quality images and can sometimes record stuff you'd rather some organisations didn't see...........A very, very lucky Guy! PS. You're not wrong about the price of the spots by the way TT!
Put my order in for the camera and mount today, hoping to keep my shots a little less dramatic than the above! Going for a RAM mount strapped to the top of the fork tube with camera sitting outboard, if it works out ok I'll post some pics. Eliminated a couple of earlier options... don't think there's enough room to safely mount under the beak if fork go to full compression (looks to be ok with camera outboard of leg). Mounting on the mirror bolt's also a no go, will hit standard screen on full lock. Also considered making a plate to come out in the gap between side panel and beak, but probably going to vibrate, and not good looking when not in use. So if the current idea with the RAM mount doesn't work out it's probably back to a suction pad on the panel.
It was the car driver that was lucky.....that the fecking idiot on the bike didn't hit him! "A motorcyclist has had a lucky escape on one of Europe's most notoriously dangerous roads and published the video as a warning to others." ....the warning being, if you're a useless rider like him.........sell your bike now! lol
