Yes I think that is inevitable. The 1000DS could be the first to become collectable. People have started to come round to the 749, which is actually more extreme than the IE. I do worry for the Multistrada though. Seems the people that warm to it do so because they know it is ugly.
yes, shudda just agreed with Viv's post and left it at that - beauty/eye/beholder etc - I also think i.e. overall is not only UGLY but has (for me) more issues than carb version. I should start an i.e. thread Rich
The SSie is not ugly, just different, some prefer the old blocky dated look of the carby, some prefer the beautiful flowing lines of the SSie .
Lol, thats one way of putting it.....I prefer the classic and timeless look of carby But hey, different opinions make the worlds so interesting, some people like Peugeots......:Nailbiting:
suspect the SS IE was not included due to it's youth, the magazine caters for older stuff, that's all no need to feel left out.
Yep, they don't feature after 1999 - not sure how long that will last though as early 2000 bikes get older
well this has opened a can of worms. As I once said carby forever, IE never, though I did see a 1000DS the other day and thought it looked quite nice. I have since given myself 200 lashes and shut myself in the garage looking at my bikes, oh and I also have two Peugeot's, another 200 lashes I guess.
And yes Al i would like a hand with the cans, and change the 400 can outer when you have a spare hour.
