1200 DVT Preload - On Rhs Fork Leg

  1. It seems to.

  2. When I had mine set up, they made the adjustments to compensate for the changes for luggage. Well worth the £50 and all the faffing to get it set correctly.

  3. Well well well, set a bunch of settings up, 5 pre load on the front, 14 on the rear (touring), HUGE difference already. Just took it out for a blast. Once the rain subsides in a few days, I'll take it for a proper spin.

The front now actually wants to turn in, it feels so much better.

I'm 88kg btw, and also made tweaks for the rider mode for luggage and the wife.

  4. Same here, I was looking for a solution to my 1260 S feeling a little soft & vague (the “hinged” feeling) at tip-in and under cornering load. I read this thread and went out to the garage to find 1 turn of front preload, added 4 more (I’m 175 lbs + gear), and it’s so much better, from butter knife to steak knife. Not quite scalpel, but it’s a comfortable 500-lb mile eater with long legs, so that’s to be expected. I have my Ninja 400 at around 335 lbs wet if I need über flickability.

  5. Changed from a Streetfighter V2 to a Multistrada 1260s. Also found the handling to be a bit vague. Checked my front preload, 1/2 turn in from fully out.
So glad I found this thread, and hoping that I take it for a ride tomorrow and love the handling.
