I don’t think such a machine exists... but I’ve got a spare set of rear sets we can bodge on . Jokes aside. I would race a 125. I also wouldn’t mind having a go at some classic stuff
Been there, endurance race for modified 49cc, run wot ya brung, bloody dangerous. Got wiped out in the first hour by some nutter slipstreaming 4 bikes that peeled either side of me to overtake and he had no idea I was there. Cost me a pair of boots and leather bottoms of a two piece. Never, never again. Andy
Ha ha! I was looking at that 50cc endurance racing!, it just looks like a cheap way of having a giggle! Like Adam I spent years of taking it so seriously along with spending every penny I had and some I didn’t have ! Every test day I could! Sometimes on track 4 times a week to keep some kind of consistency! Tyres Tyres Tyres!!! Crash damage! On it goes ! Yes I managed to win a lot of races and a couple of championships but I think the damage I’ve done to my body over the years and the amount of pals I’ve lost culminating in losing my team mate at snetterton and having to load all his kit have taken it all away for me now! I’ve achieved what I wanted at club level so box ticked and I find myself at a trackday doing the briefing then going to the cafe!! I can’t even be assed to do the first two or three sessions now! In fact if my lads weren’t on track I think I’d have packed it all in a while ago! It’s funny that something that meant so very much to me not so long ago means jack to me now! I remember doing a test day at donny when my zx10 engine shat itself just after lunchtime! Straight in the van drove 60 miles round trip to pick up another motor and swapped them on my own in the pit garage just so I could race the following day! If that happened now I’d just lean it up against a skip and go home!! Moped racing I reckon for me
