It took them 15 minutes into FP1 to start talking about contracts for 2025 by the way, i counted it. So fucking boring, i wish they'd implement some kind of transfer window to put an end to it. My only gripe so far though
Kimd of ironic I've suffered 4 months of endless rain waiting for this to kick off and it rains in the desert on the opening day.
Let us see what he can do in race distance, early days for tyre management experience on these bikes…but he has the other skills it seems. Looks completely unfazed by proceedings so far!
Not the greatest spectacle ever but it didnt need to be did it. I just wanted no repeat whatsoever of the injured riders from last year and everyone lining up for the big race tomorrow . I think Marquez got a taste of how quick and faultless he's going to have to be to win that elusive championship but we'll see tomorrow. Its going to be a season defined by extremely fine margins for sure . (And as ugly as those bikes are now they still look sensational under the lights)
The american nascar dude from trackhouse racing in the build up made me lol too, should re-name it to out-house racing imho.
A second a lap quicker than 4 months ago is also ridiculous, we truly are in the innovation era, enjoy it before the 800's come back lol.
I’m glad it’s back. Acosta is something to behold. A 19 year old kid. World Champion already in Moto 2 and 3, and in his first race on a GP bike comes in a very comfortable 8th position. Amazing talent we are privileged to be seeing here. Looking forward to the full race tomorrow.
Three fantastic races today. Acosta, future world champion. Lesson in tyre management today, brilliant rider.
