Oh dear , not what I was expecting for that race. Was it purely a tyre issue ,or maybe a ride height device problem as well , maybe even caused by the initial wheel spin ? Either way it must be gutting for Martin to no doubt lose the possibility of being Champion in such circumstances. We lost the opportunity to see a great race too. Digi. What can you say. Brilliant ride.
To be fair to Pecco, he has had bad tyre issues too during the season, but this one for JM is perfect timing for Ducati and Pecco. The final race is now just like the last stage of the Tour de France. All Pecco has to do is finish somewhere reasonable.
A shame for Jorge for sure, I was hoping for a better result as I have $20 on him for the championship The way Pramac respond to bad results makes me laugh though, they'd be top of the table of the garage door champs, they pull it down that fast. Seeing the feed cut to the bike camera then seeing them trying to figure out how they were still live was entertaining.
Nobbled ! Just doesn't seem right. Why did Jorge Martin's traction control not control the traction, bad tyre or not ? Anyway, seems he has accepted the faulty tyre as the problem. https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1...ip-decided-bad-tyre-they-didn-t-beat-us-track
If Marini goes to LCR theyll be a nice shiney VR46 Mooney bike available. He also has an Italian passport, unlike Aldegeur. Not done and dusted yet imo.
Kind of ironic that Masia's been complaining hes "the only Honda" and he feels picked on all season but it was Ayumo who got attacked from all angles when it mattered. It would have been strange to see a champion (potentially) without a win all season anyway i guess.
I was puzzled by the traction control/starting line issues for Martin, his Pramac bike seemed to have issues on practice starts all weekend. A bit odd when starts have been one of his strong points all season. It did not appear to be only the main race Wonder if Pramac were also off with their electronics settings at this track, Zarco was also barely in contention, though he now has less to race for. Anyway, credit to Bagnia, he has kept his cool so far. Not like he has not had to deal with issues too this season.
He is the king of cool is Pecco. Even the spanish helmet cant seem to get under his skin. (I am of course referring to 93, not 89)
Moto3: Mick Doohan ‘in shock’ as Jaume Masia escapes penalty in Sasaki title clash | Moto3 | News (crash.net) Masiah's block passes didnt go "un-punished" he got a warning for rider behaviour come up on his dashboard afte the second. Fernandez move was what finished him off anyway.
Fernandez has earned himself very few friends on the grid throughout the season with his antics. Andy
Strange how it all happened on the same corner Aleix and Frankie had their "coming together" on. edit: the long lap corner!!
Did anyone see Topraks shirt at the start of moto 3 when he was stood by Oncu? Looked like his nan had knitted it god bless him. (Love the way those turkish boys ride and stick together too)
This was funny too, imagine vr46 and 93 sat on a couch having a chin wag after Malaysia 2015 lol (god bless lovely Suzi btw)
