Blimey, begs the question who advised him to sign for bmw for the next two years. https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1...onda-hint-can-talk-motogp-contract-after-2025
Can't see him making the Honda work, current front end is way to unpredictable for his riding style on the Yamaha. Andy
Not just the Honda thats been up for grabs over the last few months though is it. If he'd held on a bit surely ktm or even ducati would have offered him a ride of some description? (and i get hindsight is a wonderful thing but its Toprak, literally the one rider almost everyone wants to watch in motorbike sport right now more than any other)
From my perspective, I don’t see either KTM or Ducati considering Toprak, Aprilia maybe but the other two manufacturers have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to a choice of riders. I also have my reservations that when his BMW contract ends, he’ll be 30 years old. That’s not OLD by any means but IMO, too old for MotoGP of the future, it's turning into a young man’s game. Andy
This ongoing nonsense needs to stop. Lash him at the back of the grid in Valencia for bringing the sport into disrepute or whatever, i really don't care Aleix Espargaro criticised for provocative Franco Morbidelli reply: “Feels like no-one has learned” | MotoGP | News (crash.net) Literally everyone around the world was thinking the same and even Hodgson and "Gav" said imagine doing that in front of your kids watching in the garage. Fucking hell mate swallow it and move on. Frankie was more than gracious about your embarrassing antics.
