Sorry to drag this one back up "Holy Zombie Thread, Batman" etc. But... Do I need to buy a new shift rod to go with the HM QS kit if I was to buy one?
Cheers. I'm kinda confused now though. The guy advertising the one I looked at said that there's no need for a new rod as it fits directly onto the gearbox shaft and the adjustment is on the cam... Does this sound right?
Thats a direct connection race pattern one then. Not to be confused with a road pattern one that replaces the standard foot lever.
My HM works both ways (thx to cranker and desmo dave who changed it for me) is that not the case here too?

Thanks for this guys, I'll be careful to check this properly before I do anything about buying it or not. I feel a bit stupid as I understand most things about bikes, but something about this kit is confusing me. :smile:
