  4. i have an 08 848 with just over 5000 miles on the clock. the radiator went on mine at the end of the summer. Ducati linclon replaced it in october as a goodwill guesture. well i had to pay for labour, then decided to get it serviced and the suspension reset. so £300 lighter, guess it wasnt as free as i thought!

Also i have just had a letter come through the post from Ducati, issuing a safety recall 766. anyone know what this is about?

  8. All this happened to me October last year... Not good, but a call to my dealer Ducati Wolverhampton & two weeks later they gave me a new one that I exchanged & fitted myself... Bearing in mind this is a 2008 bike I was amazed at how quick they said yes & ordered me the rad..... Cant hurt to moan at HQ in the hope they force the dealer into action... Its a known fault ffs

  9. I have moaned....wanted to de exactly the same as you. Ducati uk suggested I get it to leeds (75 miles) for an inspection to "see" if there was anything they could do... as I couldn't ride the bike it would have cost me more in van hire/fuel in the end for an inspection with a possible fob off and have to collect it again. They point blank refused to help me with getting it there and wouldn't accept just the rad as they wanted the whole bike. Think they just wanted to make it as out of reach as possible. Just got on and repaired it, by far the better option price wise in the long run.

  10. All sorted Ducati UK said yes just got to pay for labour, Riders at Cardiff sorted it for me....well happy:upyeah:
