Random 'ducati' Picture Thread

A flawed genius comes to mind,and should have had their photographic air brush out for this one.

 

A rare one

 

Marcello from the now defunct Ducati London South ran these bad boys in BSB with sponsorship from what was one of Birminghams finest lappy bars .....

 

I saw that at the Bikeshed show. The amount of work it must have taken and the quality of the craftsmanship is astonishing.

 

For some reason my reply won't include the actual pic but only its attachment number. The bike I am referring to is the red Pani-alike posted by Richard1200.

Unfortunately it is just a CAD render and never got built. It was a design project for some guy's degree in 2012 as an homage to the then Ducati/Rossi dream team. If you look closely, you will see that it has "VR46" in the top right of the fairing.

This pic popped up on Instagram a couple of weeks back. There was a mini-debate in the comments section about its provenance and why the hell were Ducati apparently trying to leverage the Rossi link when it had been an abject failure and 2019 wasn't even eg: the 10 year anniversary, when the guy whose design it was turned up....
