Weren't all the FEs Silver?

 

Is that just primer? No top coat?

 

From my saddo collection of sales literature:





Ray Dentith, the owner of a small local bike shop near here, had one as a track bike, but I've not seen it for quite a while.
The Silver is brighter than it looks in the images, but isn't that bright.

 

When's your next stage comedy show performance with a line like that.

 

I would rather look at that than say a stamp collection.

 

You can see in the images that they came with the SL seat unit and pipes, but also what can't be seen is the underslung floating rear caliper on a Torque arm to the engine.

 

A lost opportunity as that's the best bit.

 

I raise the sadness levels and bring you….

 

Did Ducati run out of red paint?

This is pretty much the perfect 999 to my eye. I'd hardly change a thing.

Just removed both instruments from my outside sitting uglies, you can see the moisture from the drop in temperature despite full blown dry sunshine today.

 

@Chris, are they totally exposed to all weathers or do you've exterior bike covers for them.?

 

Yes, I put bike covers over them, they’ld be proper ravaged by now if not, even a mini blanket over the instrument through the winter, but when it starts to really drop then best bring them in, I ought to do the same with the ECUs, but where do you draw the line I’ll get The whole bikes in the living room soon.

 

If i could or had the option i certainly would with that last sentence.
