Random 'ducati' Picture Thread

Doubt it was a rear brake issue!

 

Nut is on the wheel, wonder if it fell off the paddock stand?

 

Spindle/Axle appears to have sheared.

 

One would assume not on track, bike would be a mess if that had happened?

 

I believe this is quite an old picture and was discussed a while back.
If my memory serves me well, it was a failure of the rear axle.

I do wonder if in a couple of years time, stuff like this will be looked on with the same affection we now have for those Corsas and Saxos from the max power generation...

 

I think they are both tastefully done bar the exhaust on the m1200, nothing like the spondon framed street fighters and tarted up busas of the 90s.
