Random 'ducati' Picture Thread

a hard one to track down (the bike(MOKO)) but still trading - originally in Lucerne Switzerland.

 

If only that was Ducati's original prototype.

If he's sucked through the turbine it'll be very expensive for both parties.

The turbine you'd rebuild at great expense but not the rider, oh wait a minute......the six million dollar man comes to mind.

 

I would like someone to send me the same medication that this artist was on please, this is a severely underweight horse with a seahorse's head.

The bike would jam the turbine first?

 

I recognise that pioneering lovely engine!!

 

Not sure there would be enough power to ingest the bike. For sure the rider would be toast.
Maybe @RickyX would care to comment.

 

I think the GE J79 on that F104 would easily gobble up the rider if they managed to go headfirst into the intake however the bike would likely get stuck at the intake aperture and go no further.

I have seen the result of a large Maglite torch being left in the intake of a Trent 500 which was then started and then flew to LHR from HKG…
It didn’t get ingested but span around the intake taking chunks out of it until it embedded itself in the panel.

 

Hopefully the torch was ok?

Yep, plus the careless owner’s name was still legible enough to give them a bollocking!
