Qualify at Brands Hatch BSB this afternoon. They might not be getting the results but it was the best sounding bike there!
Found this: A 1500cc 2 valve air cooled V8, apparently developed by Ducati for O.S.C.A, a sister company to Maserati and destined for F1, as I recall O.S.C.A quit F1 after 1959 season so this engine has to predate that.
I have no idea, just took a couple of pix of the ones that took my fancy. I really liked the monochrome paint scheme.
I like the way you obliterated half of the number plates after reading the other thread (serious question) but then left all the non Ducati's plates in full view - is it because only Ducati owners are nobs about it?
Seriously I didn't think that showing just a plate wouldn't make much difference, (Monster) what bike is the silver back end anyway? and the 748 has a foreign plate in the background, plus if someone wanted to clone a Duke from a Duke forum they aren't going to be interested in any other tat.
I have another couple of pictures that im sure I took in the ducati museum . The first , a bit blurry ,was of an engine that was produced to compete with the harley back in the 60s . The second I have no Idea .
