  4. I know a guy who finds, lets just say larger bodied people, sat on stools incredibly funny.
He takes pictures of them in pubs, cafes etc, and sends them to friends.

I’ve told him several times that he’ll get caught one day and will be in a world of trouble with the wrong person.
Not to mention the possible legal consequences.

  16. Amazing the things you see when out and about.

I nearly stepped on this dragonfly a couple of weeks ago. For some reason it was on the pavement, alive but not very active. Seemed unhurt - so picked it up and put it on the railing.

  17. He may have been warming himself up on the pavement but dragonflies don't live for a great length of time - 1 or 2 weeks.

The other interest fact about dragonflies (he says adopting a nasal nerdy voice) is their prey kill success rate is around 98% - and that's when catching mozzies etc in mid air.

  19. One of those, or one very similar, drove past my house yesterday and the driver was having a hell of a job to get it to change down a gear as he reached the top of the hill, with lots of revving, double de-clutching and, no doubt, swearing, going on.
