I’m more a hearing a Ducati actually start first time kind of rider, probably why I ride other brands and have a Ducati as an ornament.

And while on the subject of satisfying noises, that lovely little jewel of an engine sounds absolutely fantastic.

 

Awesome, much slipping of the clutch and reminds me very much of the late 50s/early 60s multi cylinder bikes like the MV. Ahh, that takes me back Andy

 

I would say that was eclipsed by the RC166 six cylinder 250 for the noise it made. Heard it at a Brands Hatch Honda Day back in the late 70s. Sounded like tearing sheet metal...
