Thought the best pick guard for the rosewood neck would be a rosewood one. Found a single company selling such (Chinese of course).
For the black strat, chrome, natch (though it's plastic so how long it'll look like that remains to be seen).

 

I remember these brake tests, my rd250 at the time would not stop if the brakes were wet.
