Well if the Escort is worth £100K then that one, but just to sell... I would rather drive the Fulvia.
well I know the handing of each is subjective, Gerry Marshall could certainly throw a similar Vauxhall around very successful, but the engine side is interesting and although it's difficult to comment on most of them, I'm sorry the Vauxhall example was terrible and definitely comes last. The BDA was much touted at the time, and certainly was a strong engine but only produced three brake more than the Lancia despite being nearly 300cc larger in capacity . I probably am biased.
That's stirred up some memories Jez - i was too young to work there but got to know a really lovely man who worked there, Derek Bowen who went on to be successful with his own tube bending business. Derek can be seen in the background in a few pictures taken at the works.
