Just back from a ride out to Sleap Airfield (Shrewsbury, SY4 3HE) where they have a little museum with some really cool WW2 aircraft engines!
Most have been involved in a catastrophic crash. An interesting exhibit and well worth a ride out.

 

And a range of radial engines.
Hmmm... this looks a bit like a skull...
