Wondered around the back streets of Genoa today.

 

Dunno what sort of larvae this is but he was a big lad:

 

Just found out it's an Elephant Hawk moth larvae.

 

They become a really beautiful moth.

Is it some sort of repro, because the first Porsche turbo was mid-seventies and IIRC, the first twin turbo was the Maserati Biturbo, which was a 1980s car?

 

Unfortunately, I don't have any more info than the name and image (and obviously the name could be completely off). I would go for modern interpretation...

Pretty seductive though!
