Rear Internal Mudguard.....

  1. Yep. Don't mind sending them abroad but you'll have to send me a bit extra for the carriage....The Mount is/should be the same shape as the stock numberplate hanger....

  2. Swaged. ....grab something close by.....balance it on your head and say "that's a new one on me".

  3. I'll take your advice on it and ask for 1mm. .....you seem pretty determined!

  4. Great!

  5. Only if adding Swaging - 16 to 18 SWG if not ;)

  6. Don't want any swagging here!! too much theft already SWAG.png

When I looked on google to find out what it was I was confronted with this swag 2.jpg Now that's some scary shit.

  7. You mentalist

  8. Ah that's better :-D

  9. Well, asked the fabricator to knock up the next test fab out of 1mm and he was very reluctant to do it/wouldn't do it.....he reckons it wont be strong enough...his words "itll be on my head if it does break....so I rather go with the thicker...." I think in the scheme of things weight isn't the issue...

  10. That's fine, all down to design Vs thickness - 16 to 18 SWG would be fine with a little thought in swaging. A lot of steel car body panels are thinner.

  11. There you go with the swaging again.....his argument is if something big hit the underside he's not confident that the mudguard would survive it/snap/break...I think if I insisted that it were 1mm he wouldn't make it - ive got a pretty good understanding with them at the moment so don't want to upset anything. Id rather it over engineered than under....

  12. I did think "what about CF?" but that would triple the price I expect......ive got the remaining 3 tail tidyies on ebay and they haven't sold yet (only 40 quid each) and IMO theyre better than anything else out there and under half the price...! they were just the leftovers of the package I had to pay for last time...

  13. Mind you I don't think anyone has done anything like this before....itll be the same again....I should "for the price" be able to get 10 or so made, flog em, then it means the one for me cost the same as everyone else's....not in it for the profit just something that works how I want it to....

  14. Ok - just got into work from collecting the final revision (final if it fits and covers what its supposed to!) - here you go....

If I get time ill fit it at lunchtime....if not tonight....assuming all is ok ill then have to have 10 made, so, if you want one let me know....

  15. And it's fitted. Here's a few shots....

Oh... Yeah.... I lost a bolt but it's solid. Quite chuffed with it.

  16. Well....got caught in the rain tonight and it works brilliantly. ...kept up inside round the battery area nice and dry...

  17. Looks good if not a little thick ;)

  18. Looks really neat. I'm guessing it only works with the under seat pipes as opposed to the race termi?

  19. Not sure if you've got that shape for the mount then I guess it would fit yours....
