Its only the UK spec model. I heard those in the Middle East are ok. Hot and dry all the time. Maybe you could consider gray imports...
I accept punctures are just part of life. (I was venting my spleen wee a bit) What I don't agree with is a rear brake on a £15,000 bike to be worse than a Toys R Us kids bike!!! I ride the Mutley as much as possible. Last 7000 miles done in 8 months in all weathers. I have sold everything I could to buy it and have a big credit card bill which covered the rest I needed. I'm not going to sell it for at least another 4 years so will see how it holds up!
The rear brake upgrades makes it more usable. Still have to dip quite down to get any effect. Got used to using it for balancing only. Better than initial 2010 setup. A bleed and service will restore it to usefulness; which then deteriorates in about 2-3 months. Bleeding kits are available i think. Ducati finally acknowledged that the brake circuit was having airlock problems. And just like your radiator, a bleed will solve it.
Just like Biot I got a puncture in my brand new PR3's .... 100 miles or so! That was at approx 6000 miles! I used a tyre plug! Like the one above! I'm now at 11000 miles and the tyre is still patent! Whoa I hear the hse scream! To be honest the puncture was caused by a wood screw so I doubt it will explode suddenly, and a flat tyre will be felt in the handling long before it is flat!
