1200 DVT Rear Spring Way Too Soft

  1. Try backing off the compression. Iirc 5 settings. Go back one from where it is and see how that feels :)
     
  2. Yep made all the difference to my bike to, I was on the verge of selling mine when he got in touch with me from a local forum, as you say the bike is totally different now handling wise. I think with the back lifted to where it was designed to be it just puts that bit more weight over the front and lifts the centre up for cornering with out scraping your toes n pegs as much.
    But I have noticed I get a bit of odd wear on the front tyre, where I think it's pushing the front into the bends, My front tyre gets a flat right round, if your looking from the front at the tyre its like it's been chamfered off at 45 and 135 degrease from centre.

  4. This is where i get confused, what cganges the compression? The setting that say soft medium hard?
     
  5. I think its all linked, i.e. comp and rebound work together, so make softer. :)
