  1. Is that bolt at a bit of an angle ? or is it me :bucktooth:...therefore cross threaded ....

  2. That looks like a cast piece Ian. Is that what the billet parts were bolted to?

  3. How much and what sort of loctite did you use...

  4. It’s plastic Rod. The bolt wasn’t cross threaded and no thread lock was used as the bolts were tight coming out the first time. I think the factory must have used a full bottle on each bolt and some must have still been in the bolt holes.

I ended up heating the final bolt with a soldering iron and after about 5 minutes heating it eventually moved using mole grips then unscrewed.
I have put acf50 on new bolts and they screw in and out easily so I really don’t know how they seem to seize once they are nipped up.
They make a big ‘crack’ as they loosen off.
I have some stainless bolts but they were what I used the last time so I need some that won’t round off easily.

At least they are out now without any damage to the bike just a couple of bits of anodising rubbed off inside the recessed holes of the cnc part.

Thanks for the soldering iron and rubber band tips.
