Driven a lot of cars, BMW3.0d, Audi, VW, Toyotas, Ford, Saab, Jaguars etc etc. some high spec ones..the only one that was on a par (exceeded even) the KIa was the Audi, an avant A4 2.0 S line auto. I had that for a week return trip to France, loaded to the brim. Impressive. But service costs and initial cost you would really expect that. But what is the warranty?
Second vote for the Yeti Very practical, local garage always seems to sell the second hand ones straight away. They were very popular new.
Thought I’d update this thread. I bought a mini club van today. Ive always loved them and can’t work out why they didn’t make more. 2013 plate 30k odd miles. Cheap (compared to the clubman’s), mini used/approved and brilliantly practical. Very happy and pics to follow when it gets delivered. Don’t laugh at the colour.
You can’t beat a Mini. I just bought a tuned R53 Cooper S (2005) the other week and it’s fkn awesome!
I got pulled over and hit with a £100 fine for having a black plate with silver lettering on a bike that didn’t qualify.
This definitely backs that up , only 781 on the road at the start of this year. Certainly wont be passing one every five minutes like i did with my old cream one
Quick update lol I thought I’d had my aerial nicked but on further investigation it never turned up with one. I know this because I looked at the original vid they sent me which didn’t have one on either. So I phoned the dealers who told me they are going to speak to their parts team about the aerial but since then I’ve noticed the radio is stuck in one mode (DAB, nightmare) and the AC doesn’t switch on. It’s now booked into my nearest dealers which is Romford on 3 February next year as that’s the earliest they could provide a courtesy car. Absolute joke really. Waiting to hear if they offer me some kind of compensation (which I haven’t asked for yet). The dealers in Romford are also charging me £100 for the first hour of diagnostics which should come under warranty but they couldn’t find my car had one haha. The joys of consumerism ay.
I bet you my right bollock that if you ask for recompense you’ll get some boilerplate email that tells you how sorry they are and that they always strive to adhere to the highest standards of customer care, however (after entirely failing to address the core of the issue you complained about) they will regret to inform you that it is not company policy to pay compensation but they hope you will choose Bodgeit and Leggit Motors for your secondhand vehicle needs in future.
AKA Mini/BMW used and approved… and “gone through our standard 500 point check” blah blah blah… Yep all full of shite mate.
