  1. 50p piece dive bombers :joy::joy::laughing:
    Spot on!!

  2. I enjoy trackdays on my little vfr400r, yes I have to rag the living daylights out of it and get smoked on the longer straights, but its great fun, and quick enough for me in the inters group.

  4. Did you have a quiet word with him once back in the pits:punch:

  5. I'd recommend a nice and easy to ride jap 600 if you want to go quite quick from the off... Or a 749 if you like struggle and break down every track day! ( Just my personal experiences here)

  6. This.

    Ring Matt at smallboys, gixxer 6 for 200 squid. Hell take you through all the necessary and give you a load of advice if you ask. Throughout the breaks in the day have a wonder round the garages and eye up what all the other guys are rolling with, see what you like the look off. One thing you'll notice mate is everyone's happy to talk and give advice.

  7. I agree, my first track bike was a cbr400rr, brilliant bike, taught me a lot about carrying corner speed etc. only any good on short circuits like Lyden Hill
    but an excellent starter bike

  9. Nah, I hadn't paid attention to ID bike and rider. I'd lost my mojo and he was off. Had I come off I would have found him. Hopefully in the gravel next to me....

  10. I had a NC29 20 years ago. I remember it fondly although I was definitely more flexible back then to hustle it around : unamused:
