^^^ lovely that would be perfect for me as my second bike ! What does the 749 s have over the normal 749 ?
I have a red 999S, which I deliberately chose over the rarer yellow option, but ... I saw a yellow 999 parked up in Siena in Italy, when the 999 first came out and it was this sight that confirmed my desire to own a 999. It is gorgeous in yellow, with no number boards, etc. I bought/stick with a red scheme because it is/was simpler acquire and to source matching parts and I am too cheap to pay for re-sprays anyway. But yellow is lovely for the 999/749.
The 749s has full showa suspension engine has more torque & is i think about 116 bhp different sprocket gearing higher compression ratio on the 749s its 12.3:1 i think you can adjust most of the bike to suit yourself foot controls/seat /rake ie head angle its a true single seater. most people will say that it handles far better than its bigger brother the 999. i did try a 999 but found it very aggressive for me thats why i went for the 749s its wonderful to ride once your out of the town nothing like the feel of it & the sound amazing.
i like al colours as long as they are black (commercial from ford analogy). her is my new beauty ? Does it categorize as black (matt) or racing ?
All in eye of beholder I guess - tbh if money were no object I'd have a barn full of bikes, various colours, types and make, even if just to look at 'em all.
Hey DoctorW iam with you on that barn idea ive got a small shed with 4 bikes but would really love a few more would love to have a tzr 250 or kr1s just rare bikes that you dont see any more.
