I think with the SS and the ie they should go around corners constantly Straight line riding seems to induce painful neck and shoulders wrists I can't comment on In town riding I found I leant one arm on tank and one hand on bars to be upright just to relieve the pressure For some reason having a backpack on seemed to help
If anyone is put off the adjustable bars because of the fairing being too low, note I bent my front subframe 3cm higher in anticipation of fitting those bars just using my hands with the frame still on the bike. I can't tell the difference regarding the shape of the bike and now I can see the indicator light on my clocks. Win win so far. Not ridden it yet and am anticipating either having my head ripped off even more at high speeds or possibly even an improvement!
adjustable bars on my bike helped a bit but as regards neck I found an open faced helmet with a wider field of vison meant you didn't have to crank your neck back at such an extreme angle
gillies bars scored them off flea bay bars listed for ducatis always went for silly moneym got a set off a Suzuki, same inside diameter on the clamps and just redrilled the switchgear locating pin holes these lifted bars about an inch and changed angle to a less acute angle really need to lift entire (half) fairing about an inch or so to raise bars further, thought about it but have other more pressing projects that need attention
