You will struggle to find a tyre place that will repair them these days. Even car tyres are getting difficult to get repaired.
My local Honda bike dealer does. They repaired my rear tyre on my K4 Gixer. Another local tyre dealer (car/bike) repaired my GS rear tyre late last year.
I have repaired a rear Michelin PR2 using the same, internally fitted mushroom plugs that Birdie listed. That tyre ended up with two such repairs in it, actually. I used it for a couple of thousand miles or more like that and had no problem at all. Personally, for a neat puncture hole in a central area and one that is roughly perpendicular to the surface, I would have absolute faith in such a repair. They're easy to do yourself too, as long as you have the kit/knowhow remove and refit the tyre.
Repaired the exact same tyre in the same place on my Tuono and it’s been fine. Even done a session with it round Portimão
