Cal must have looked at that announcement and thought, that's it, that was my last chance for a factory ride
Fair point was thinking more or less the same..think he had some issues with his girlfriend back in the day. Also the way he quit KTM was a bit dissapointing. But still would have been interesting to see what he can do on a factory backed bike.
he had his chance on a factory bike and moaned his way out of it... surprisingly enough that bike came good the next season...
just watching now.. well, have it on in the background... hope they show all the pre season stuff this season..
He could always just speak English in a Spanish accent, similar to what he did when he was riding for the French team, Tech 3, and he sounded like Rene from Allo Allo for a while
lol im getting confused here!!... alex in the black and white leathers on the black honda... that was the pic that outintheopen was asking about... marc in the next one... AM obviously aint been issued his repsol kit yet.. tbf AM is far from the only one to bin it on that corner. (still want him to suck though!)
Its well documented that Cal was never going to get a Repsol bike, his personal sponsorship deal with Monster is not something he would have been prepared to relinquish and also his regular 1 more season noises means he isn't a long term proposition and isn't good enough for the full seat to make a short term gig worth it for either party.
