Abraham retires from Avintia and Motogp....... https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/934607/1/abraham-retires-avintia-seat-open-zarco
Since Karel Abraham is a qualified lawyer, as well as being from a wealthy family, I expect he'll be just fine.
all a bit odd... in an interview at testing on tuesday, he seemed quite certain he was staying yet that link suggests he had announced to his fans on saturday that he is to retire...
anyone catch Simon Crafar's interview with crutchlow at testing? what a cock that cal is.. sure there may be a semi valid point in amongst his crap but hes an employee at the end of the day and largely has only himself to blame for not being first choice . worth a listen if this link works... https://r.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=Awr..._during//RK=2/RS=eYVdGYmj8JHlu86fD9XXx_OsaLw-
Not sure he was dissing Taka, more pointing out next year will be much like this year. Sounded like he was blaming hrc for him crashing so much tho
sounded a bit like the test was a waste of his valuable time and only of use to the engineers and mechanics... errr...
You can understand his dissapointment. He felt he was the right person for the no2 factory bike when pedrosa stepped down and again as when lorenzo stepped down and still nothing, he clearly wants to go for a break. The bit that would worry me is that he makes it very clear the guys he feels will make him faster were taken away by hrc, how would that make the people he is now working with that replaced them?
Think the point is, that they did not replace them, sort of get his point that he has been 2nd best Honda rider for 2 seasons and probably next season also with not a great deal of help from Honda.
as dibble mentioned earlier, hes not made it easy on him self by always making noises about it maybe being his last season couple this with the fact that he is getting long in the tooth as far as gp riders go, he's constantly slagged honda, has form of walking out on a factory ride and didnt exactly do wonders when he did have the support that was taken away... you can hardly blame honda for not giving him the "full" factory seat nor putting the cream of the techs where they think most needed.. not to mention he crashes all the time!!!!

Strangely i think Marc has become a bit of a non event for GP. He just clears off and even the camera's dont follow him anymore. The racing is always about 2nd 3rd and fourth and which of the 2 will get the podium. I cant see how Honda benefit as it just highlights they have a bike no one else can ride. As for his Brother. I cant see full on racing between the two, you are not going to dive for the gap on the last bend if you might skittle your brother.
He falls of through lack of natural talent and pushes beyond his limit (bit like @bradders )just every now and then he stops on and gets a podium, without that sprit he would have been out of gp years ago, fair play to him for giving it a go, he must be one of the top riders in the podium list on the grid now.
