Did a bit more work on it today. The finish is now as good as the original Ducati paint. So pleased !!! Will start on the 1299 soon now.
Mushio, it would be superb if you did a picture/thread diary of work on the 1299 paint project. You'd recieve a lot of praise & help others dip into a bit of DIY.
Yeh ! Will do. Think even takin the fairing off is hard enough for some who aint done it before. Will take loads of pics. Better not make any 'Balls ups ' Just need some good weather to clock up another 100 miles to hit 600 and get it serviced. Then I can start. Cant wait to have them looking the same ! The missus wants a Pani as well next year. Cant see that staying plain red either.

Yo Guys. Cant wait till me 1299 has done its first 600 miles for a service. So, this afternoon, Ive took the rear off and the side panels. and started to mask things off. I'm keeping the original red if I can, which wont be much. Seems so easy this time. It will be the same as the 1199, Just with a few small tweeks. The tank wont be touched. I'm taking loads of pics, and will post things on a separate thread, as I progress. Off to the NEC tomoz, so hopefully start spraying in the afternoon, or Sunday. Taster pic !!!
