  4. Had a few bikes now and can say the 959 is the best bike I have owned!
After 10mins into the test ride I was sold, it's so user friendly easy to ride (fast or slow). One of the biggest things I found was the leg room I'm 5ft 11 and coming from a blade witch made my legs ache I couldn't believe comfortable the 959 was. Plus it's looks are to die for.

  5. Test ride and I'm sure you will be fine.

As others have said under 20 mph it doesn't like and chugs and you have to slip the clutch and give her a rev occasionally.

I've ridden mine into London a few times (20 miles) and found it absolutely fine - the noise and lights let people know you are coming when filtering.

I have an 899 and only ridden for 1.5 years on the road and genuinely shocked when I first rode it how easy it was, non-terrifying and how capable it was.

The bike is a real pussycat to ride and your abilities with strengthen through it. Of course you pull the throttle and make it something else completely but it's a very tame bike for normal riding.

Always enfuriated me how my Dad could always cross a roundabout so fast and effortlessly - now I know it was more the bike ;)

Just don't leave it outside in a bay in London.

I see a new 959 on day one get knocked and within 8 weeks it was stolen - a lot longer than I thought it would take.

  6. To be fair to Ducati's security measures , 8 weeks is a fuck load of time , I'd like to think someone would have stopped them before then :)
