  1. In this case, yes. Either way you look at it, the blue pill is the way forward.

  5. Thinking I'll test ride a deep sump 999 when weather cheers up, going on looks alone I've had probably died a virgin.

  6. Deep sump, shallow sump... you're probably looking at dark chocolate hobnob vs milk chocolate hobnob. All 999s (and 999s for that matter) are way more talented than we are. You will at least occasionally get the sense that you're riding them hard, and that feels grand. On the HP4, for example, I just feel like a passenger.

  7. I hear you, always fancied something with ohlins front & rear. My skill level & bravery are not anywhere near good enough to exploit them.

  10. And then we heard nothing from Exige.

The visiting Ex had buttered him up, he was a lamb to the slaughter.

  18. There was a reason you got rid of the bike in the first place, getting it back as your only bike is probably never a good idea.. If you can afford it, leave in the shed on charge and ride occasionally when the need arises, just don't let your newest bike find out. Bikes can get very temperamental about this sort of thing esp Italian ones.
