Well this is the first Ducati I’ve owned and I expected to get bent over going through a main dealer! I didn’t say it was acceptable ! I said I don’t have a problem with the cost which I don’t as I’m getting a good deal! My concerns were the expertise of the techs! All Ducati’s are premium bikes in my opinion! If you get lost for words again bud give me a shout and I’ll find em for you
So you buy a standard model Aston Martin and the basic service is £800...... Would you kick off and be like “I’m not paying that, it’s a basic service”...... Of course not, only a space cadet would do that. If you don’t like the dealer prices, you take it to a guy who is a specialist (and half the price) but would know fuck all about the newer models unless he has been factory trained..... Wilf at MotoRapido is the same roughly.
Well I've had bills a lot bigger than 800 quid in my time, but, as I say, it's something each owner must make their own minds up about.The OP asked for opinions, I gave mine, other views may differ.
