I done a first aid course and am doing an assessors course atm. If you come across a a victim,they arnt breathing and you are on your own the first thing you do is call for help then do CPR when you return.If it was one of the main arteries that got severed in the crash the patient will bleed out in around five minutes so getting medical help is the priority. also the report said that he was in cardiac arrest which means without CPR the chance of survival drops about 10% every minute and about 5% every minute if CPR is being done.Saying that the lady sounds like she came accross him so you dont know how long he has been lying there so 999 is the first port of call.
I'm still trying to figure out the cause of the incident.......I shall be talking to the black rat next week. AL.
was a crash like this last year on the antrim coast road, eldery man an all. ended up he had passed out due to a diabetic attack.
I saw this ... Very sad he comes from round the corner of where I live . I don't know him .. People act out of charecture when confronted with such things. I hope he did not suffer poor man. I had an off on a road I road everyday for years !!! it was probably diesal .. It shocked me !!
