I Know Mr Hinge, I do have two of them, just can't understand their pricing, and the RSV4 RF is such a great bike for the money £15999, I couldn't even get an out of warranty 1299S for that money, for me its a no brainer. I am sure the Ducati V4 will be a great bike, but nearly £20,000 ( Speciale ) better than a 2017 RSV4 RF, I very much doubt it , plus I can ride it now and not have to wait until 2019.
2018 is exact same spec as the 2017, just a poor colour change, and no doubt they will be the same price as a 2017 come March.
Ive been told £4K for the full system from my local dealer. That includes the bellypan as well (which it bloody well ought to for that price) Still miffed that they are selling the S with a plastic front mudguard.
Eeek, not cheap but better than 5k that was being bandied about earlier. It's a full Ti system right? The reason I ask is because when I ordered a full system for my car, I was told the headers had to be stainless or Inconel as Ti can't withstand extreme heat.... My car's a blown (turbo) engine mind you which will blow hotter exhaust gas. Just a thought- I've seen a few cracked headers at track days.
Not what I’ve been told... 2018 has some new elecy bits and a bit more power. At least that was what I was told at the show. RR is 15 something, RF is 19 I think from memory although the guy on the stand said unless you’re terrible at negotiating you wouldn’t pay that for one...
Advikaz, you were told wrongly, no changes for 2018 other than colour. The 2018 RR model is £15499, the 2018 RF is £20,002, fact. although like you say no one will be paying those figures when you can still get 2017 RF for £15999.
I suspect if you Paid £20002 for your 2017/2018 RF, you would get thrown in an Akrapovic Evo Titanium Full System, Full Aprilia Carbon Pack, Gia Moto Rear Sets, Aprilia Levers, and probably a trackday at Mugello, sounds like a good deal, or you could get the base model Ducati V4, not such a good deal me thinks.
Cheers, I spoke to my local dealer and it appears you are indeed correct. Just colour changes and apparently suspension for 2018. The bigger changes where apparently 16-17
You lot are obviously not on the right forums. A big piston kit in a 125 will smoke anything through the twisty stuff and hit 150mph on the straights... Apparently
I think I might buy one, I can afford it cause I’m fucking loaded. I’d hope the 1st service and a free trip to the factory for a coffee with the chief engineer is free. Yeh, get real, I ain’t buying, I’m here for the ride
