Try reading his obituary if you think he was a waste of space. He did a lot more than just walk one pace behind the Queen.
Whatever the rights and wrongs, I had on Radio 3 for music but the BBC have decided to fook all that music rubbish and give you wall to wall coverage of the royal family. I've gone back to music that I control on my mp3 stick. Yes, he has died and that is sad but that is all we need to know. Not how Boris feels about it and then any old rentamouth for the rest of the day...
R.I.P Prince Phillip. Some of his supposed comments make you cringe and laugh. I’m a Royalist, they bring in a fair amount of income, but that’s for another debate.
RIP Prince Phillip Whatever you think about royalty he was a husband/father/grandfather and great grandfather and a dear friend to many A very sad loss to his family and to the world
Whatever your opinions as mentioned he led a very full life, I think he made a massive contribution to the fabric of our society, we need more people like him not less. Even the Duke of Edinburgh award on its own has touched many millions directly. Ok not everyone’s cup of tea but I salute him! RIP Sir.

Prince Philip seen here flagging away the 1949 Senior TT Race. Someone who knows their @ttracesofficial history better than me will know, but I am sure he visited the event on more than one occasion.
RIP HRH He gave most of his life to serving this country, he spoke his mind and seemed pretty grounded and probably helped the Queen no end through so many difficult decisions. Thoughts go out to the Queen and the rest of the Royal family.
He was a wonderful man, a role model who was a war hero and did wonderful work for well over seven hundred institutions and charities. His Duke of Edinburgh award scheme took many youngsters off a bad path in life. A life well lived.
RIP Phil the Greek, Not a bad lad, not everyone’s cup of tea but he did a lot of good work and supported our Queen admirably for years so he deserves respect for that at least. I liked his impish non pc sense of humour, bet he was a good laugh after a few drinks! My thoughts are with the Queen now, she must miss him, his support and companionship after all those years terribly, really sad time for her.
i dont do royalty but basic humanity allows me to send my condolences. he wasn't a despot or screwed over a nation. RIP Philip, you will be missed by many.
