Wow, that's a big shock. Was listening to him only the other day on the radio.

 

He was a regular in our house until he got shunted aside. He was about to start a spin off show for the BBC - they only announced it last week.

 

Very sad, a mainstay of my early working career as a printing apprentice. Chris Tarrant on Capital Breakfast and Steve Wright in the afternoon, carefree happy days.

 

Reminded me instantly of Russ Cain in his funny little plane!

 

Steve Wright first appeared on Radio 210, a local radio station in Reading, in the 1970’s. He teamed up with Mike Read and their show was called “Read and Wright”. Andy

The only surprise is that Putin left it so long before terminating Navalny. He must have decided that by this stage there was no downside left.

 

They haven't moved on since Stalin really.

 

I'm not entirely sure they have moved on since Ivan the Terrible and the start of the Tsars in the 16th century.

 

Well, seeing as Putin’s hero is Peter the Great, who had his own son tortured to death, we shouldn’t be too surprised that he shows no qualms whatsoever about offing a troublemaking lawyer.
