  9. Just awful.
    Even when Pedrosa took him out in Estoril almost scuppering his world championship he kept his dignity and didn't publicly complain.
    Generally know as the hardest worker in the paddock.

  16. My friend (who is sadly no longer with us) took this picture of Nicky from the rear of the Ducati Stand at the Sachsenring in 2007. It remains a personal favourite of mine.

  18. This is an absolute tragedy, the guy lived his life like a lion on the race track and for it to end like this is just so, so wrong.

    My thoughts go out to his family, friends and girlfriend, I'm truly saddened that we've all lost him, a great guy.
