To be fair, I'm amazed there are any left from your childhood.

 

When your Mother remarries, your new Step Dad can legally 'adopt' you ... and you have the opportunity to change your middle name. My middle name was the same as my real Father's first name - William. My parents asked me if I'd like to change it ... and I didn't need any encouragement as I'd never really liked it. To a 6 year old it wasn't very cool - think "Just William" from the books - but Jason King off the TV was super cool

For those who might be interested,Mark E Smith him out of the band The Fall, passed away today aged 60.

 

any relation to ben e king? He was good also ..

 

Oh fucking hell! I knew it would be soon.
He was a massive hero of mine and kept me filling my CD shelf with many many albums, some great, some not so great.
As John Peel said “always the same...always The Fall...”
A great and underrated talent has passed away.
