Probably not as well known to brits unless you are of a certain age, Luke Perry of 90210 fame died today at 52 of a heart attack
Met him at a Trackday a few years back, surprised how short he was...shorter than me!! Nice bloke, had to ask him for an autograph “for a friend” (honest) and he ripped the piss out of me. Great band, great geezer, he can join the likes of Lemmy ripping it up in the sky!
I managed to catch some of the afternoon dross on tv yesterday, when Bradley Walsh came up with the question ‘which chart topping band has the least members’? Can’t believe prodigy was one of the three listed. RIP Keith.
At some point we are all doomed states dads army geezer, but for sure he would have had some epic times
Rip On a side note, years ago I knew this bird in Leeds called Charlie she worked in the viaduct pub which was a bit of Leeds united pub before went to a gay bar ( I await the humour) Anyway I pulled up on the mv one night and she was all over it I mean loved it, asked if I had a spare crash helmet well fuck me one helmet started to appear but rapidly disappeared when I remembered it was a single seater...she was a bit upset, anyway she says to me have you ever heard of frank thomas motorcycle clothing I said yes I have, she said that was my dad’s company I said fucking hell....apparantly it was her dads and brothers names? It was years ago this so memory is clouded but I truelly believe her how can a bird just make that up, I remember looking into it and thought it’s true, she said he jacked it in due to spending his life on airplanes Anyway rip Arlen you did some nice kit I reckon
Met Arlen and his son many years ago in my travels. Often ended up staying in Pleasanton not far from their main headquarters. Always happy to have a chat and had some interesting times looking through the workshop. Not that impressed with the Victory he sent me out with on one trip. RIP. Andy
