Really ? Your uncle must have a been a lad then, Percy was real fun to be around.

I think he passed away about a month back as I read it on the TT forum.
I confess I never saw him race as he’s a bit before my time but after hearing he had died I read up on him.
A top racer and character by all accounts. RIP Percy.

 

Apparently he did a million miles testing for the Triumph factory.RIP

 

Yep, early 1950's Royal Signals Display team as well.

3 year battle with Alzhiemer's before it got him, that must have been hard on him and his loved ones.

 

Without his goal we'd have lost the match/cup so topman.RIP
