  1. @Dibble Just spotted the air & motion airbag tech bit. So 1800 all in is not bad at all! Any idea of the weight? My Alpinestars with associated air vest weigh a friggin ton!

  2. Nice write up :upyeah:

  3. I used to have a cat called Dibble.

  6. Hmm, I once had some crocodile skin shoes. All I wanted to do was stand in puddles…

  7. Do you always look behind you in your kangaroo leathers because you feel jumpy too?

  8. I’ve got a plain cow skin one, can weigh that to give you an idea? It’s bloody heavy.

Nice bit of Finbar Saunders there BTW!

  9. Having been trying on rst recently, I can say I didn’t feel much difference between the airbag and non airbag suit, essentially just the weight of the plastic back protector really

  10. £1800 is pretty bang on. That’s enough that I’d be willing to pay but not too much that I’d feel like this p!ss was being taken. All my kit is currently Alpinestars. At work we get kitted out with tailored Hideout gear. Having spoken to the lady there and done a bit more of my own research I’m now somewhat disillusioned with the ‘bigger’ brands and will be going for RST/Held/Hideout in future.

  11. £1,800 would also get you a made-to-measure Hideout Classic race suit and an In&Motion airbag :upyeah:

Alternatively, £2,100 would get you Belstaff Long Way Up suit :scream::astonished::eek:

  12. Been many a ride with Zoe...she's my mate Lee's girlfriend, got a ZX10 track bike as well

  13. I think you will win "best dressed rider" at Jerez :D

  14. So just to close the loop on this ...

Had the suit delivered a couple of weeks ahead of my trip to Jerez, tried it on, all seemed well ...

Got to Brno and it was a revelation, really well made, well fitted and also made moving around on the bike far easier than my one piece Dainese suit, made me realise how ill fitting that suit was in some ways and also having all the protection built in means there's no friction in he suit as you move about in it .....

The attention to detail and the printing are excellent, I had it cut to work with my Dainese In Boots and its spot on and the whole suit looks just like the design that was signed off on ...

    A couple fo pics ...
